A team of World Bank experts on the implementation of the project “Modernization of the National Innovation System of Uzbekistan” (MUNIS) met with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The experts provided information on the progress of the implementation of two key programs of the MUNIS project: Research Commercialization Program (RCP) and Business Investments in Research & Development (BIRD), which were launched at the end of last year. Both programs are aimed at actively involving the scientific and business communities in efforts to stimulate innovative entrepreneurship in the country.
In turn, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry provides comprehensive support in organizing and conducting events to promote the RCP and BIRD programs among enterprises interested in implementing innovative projects and conducting active innovation activities.
