Experts of the MUNIS project, with the participation of the Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Turdikulova, discussed issues regarding cooperation in the field of modernization of research institutes within the framework of the PRIM program, including the possibilities of commercializing the activities of scientific organizations.
Particular attention was paid to capacity building in the field of management and strategic planning, interaction with the business community, as well as issues regarding ISO certification.
Mechanisms for integrating scientific achievements into the economy and the need to create conditions for the transfer of technology and knowledge between scientific institutions and the industrial sector were also considered.
As part of the discussion, specific steps were outlined to strengthen cooperation and implement joint projects aimed at increasing the competitiveness of national science in the international arena.
